Estaban, York, DuSable, Matthew Henson, Percy Julian, Charles Drew, Joan Higgenbotham, Robert Curbeam, and Shirley Jackson are part of this exciting exhibit!

Children can climb into an igloo, play in a log cabin, put together a puzzle of Matthew Henson, pretend they are launching a spaceship, and discover six exploeres in the big box!

Jewel-Osco is sponsoring this unique exhibit. This hands-on exhibit is designed to educate and expose children (ages 3-9) to the untold history of unknown African-American explorers. Through exciting activities, children learn the importance of these explorers who often went unnoticed, despite their many accomplishments and contributions to the world.
